Posted 25/09/04 02:17 AM Share Posted 25/09/04 02:17 AM Guys I have picked up Rumble from Amberley's last night (friday), wow. The car is like a more powerful version of Boof. They havn't quite finished yet, they had a bit of a problem with lack of fuel with the performance map. There wasn't time to check it out so it will be going back Wednesday to find the problem, get a few more rwkw's and install the switch. The base map has 265rwkw's and has a large peak kw plateau. The performance map has 304.8 rwkw's at the moment and I'm hoping for a little more when the find the fuel problem. The car drives amazingly. Before it used to consistantly break traction in first and second. The power also seemed more brutal or less refined. I'm not saying this is a bad thing, it was just a different delivery to what Boof had. Now its like Boof but better.There has been some extensive mods under the bonnet with the battery moved to the boot and the pipe work remodeled. There is a pod filter fitted in the drivers side front guard and a custom pipe into the throttle body.Here are some pics of the pipe work.Here is the engine overall.Here are three of the pipe to the pod filter.And here is one of the pipe into the throttle body.Please ask any questions you may have and I'll answer the best I can.The car is going to the auto place Wednesday morning when my trans cooler (off Boof) will be fitted. He will also have a bit of a look and give me his thoughts on the trans overall. It will then go to Amberley's where they will finish the tune and install the switch.I am intending to go drag racing on Friday 1st October, hopefully lots will come join me and we can have a big night with lots of PB's.Geea. Jeff had the APS intercooler fitted and the pipe that runs from the intercooler to half way along the rocker cover is the APS pipe. Where the join is, is where the Amberley pipe starts. The rest of the Pipe work is all Amberley and it looks even better in the flesh.do u still have the Unichip or did u Opt for the xede again ?Hello, I have had the Xede chip fitted, JB is going to use the Unichip.
