Had an XR6 "97" Ute (White) with no mud spats front or rear. Tar became part of the paintwork and I only had the car for three years, when it came time to sell I thought id get rid of it so when I cut it back - looked like crap......Definately get them cause Stone chips fresh tar etc does expensive damage to your lower panels....They look pretty sharp too...

Car has NOOO stone chips, badly needs a wash(driven it once since last wash)

NT u keep your car spotless!

I got mud spats on mine as a matter of course - like putting jocks on in the morning, if you don't you only really notice it when one of your dearest assets gets caught in your fly - or in the case of mud spats when one of your dearest assets gets caught in the car wash.

cheers

Apart from the dirt and stones etc I found that after I fitted mine the crap from the tyre black was non exsistant. Saves heaps of cleaning and only took about 5 mins to install. And NT is right, they come with push clips. All you have to do is unscrew the ones holding the plastic inside the guard and line it up and Bobs your uncle.

Picked up my mud spats this afternoon.

Will fit them tomorrow after work after I wash the car.

Cost $50 for the set, trade price. Cheap I think.
