Guest Guests Posted 15/03/03 09:51 AM Share Posted 15/03/03 09:51 AM How many of you got spats ? I dont do dirt roads much , but looking at the way the rear tyre is exposed to the rear guard,Im sure you would get some damage to the paintwork. Even the front looks vulnarable .Rich Dave photos please Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/1299-mud-spatsflaps/ Share on other sites

As I have a long dirt driveway I think that the tyres have a good chance of throwing up stones onto the guards and chipping the paint. The extra cost is minor Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/1299-mud-spatsflaps/#findComment-13443 Share on other sites

Its been wet for weeks in Brisbane and it keeps the bottom half of the car a lot cleaner. I can foresee the car getting rock chips down low because the tyres stick outside the guard line down the bottom.
