Work pays for mine... personal and business calls regardless. But I don't abuse it. Probably $100 or so a month I'm guessing.

Back in about 1990 when self-employed I managed to rack up $1200 on my own phone when I was looking for new business premises. Easy to do.

Not quite related... about 12 yrs ago my missus worked with some young girl who had a loser boyfriend who decided to stay over at her place one Sat night. She went to bed, he stayed up. By the next morning he'd racked up something like $3000 on one of those overseas-hosted 1902-breather numbers. When she found out, she hit the roof... and he dumped her and left her with the bill.

guys, I pay 10c 30second

how can that add up to $1500?

people are on the wrong plans

-------------

$1500 divided by 10c = 15000

that gives you 15000 30 second blocks.

so 7500 minutes

therefore 125 hours a month.

there are only 720 hours a month

hmmmmmmmm

Ahh yes turbo6i.. I see your point..... mine averages around $800 a month when I am here in Oz.. as you pointed out by your figures that would make it around 60 hours a month... which is about right..The phone is my main tool of trade and I call all over the world.

My biggest month was when I was in the USA for 10 days,Japan for 4 and Tawain for 4... it tends to make the bill a bit bigger than normal.

cheers

One of our salesmen managed to do a $3000 bill one month, which consisted of $2500 of GPRS data. The tool didnt know that data was chargeable....

Me? I'm a lightweight that averages $150 - $200 a month.
