Geee, my first car was a LT2000 Celica and like everyone else had to borrow $5K but was lucky enough to be given $1K from my parents as my 18th birthday pressy....

This was way back in around 1983-84...........

Within 2 months the car was broken into and my new hifi was stolen as well as camera, tapes etc

Then I had to borrow some more money to fix the locks and have an alarm installed.....

Two months later, I had saved money to have another stereo put in........

A month later during the Dandenong show.....it was pissing down and 5 hrs later went back to the car to find that the sun roof had leaked........

My car was nearly a pond on the inside.....

Two weeks later I traded it in for a Nissan Pulsar sss and an even bigger loan.....

sh*t, I've started talking to myself again and was drifting off........:)

Just wiping the dribble from the side of my mouth........ahhhh those were the days....

I remember going to the drive in with 3 guys in the tiny boot.....just to avoid paying..

And then there was the famous back seat.......Ahhhhh, ooops started to reminese again.......

he can dream, but I hate people who post stupid sh*t like that on forums :pinch:

Speaking of posting stupid stuff on forums, I decided to try to see how many posts it would take me to get banned from calaisturbo.com, 2 posts.

Dazza.

links to your posts?

or if they were deleted, maybe show us what you wrote? :spoton:

They have been deleted, but heres what they said.

TOPIC 1 - If I put turbo stickers on my car will I an extra pound or 2 of boost? I have heard that if you use bright coloured stickers you gain one pound and if you use metallic or reflective stickers you gain 2 pounds.

I was told to be serious or they will ban me.

TOPIC 2 - If I mount my turbo backwards, can I go faster in reverse? I am sick of driving forwards and want to drive backwards from now on, but I still want to be able to speed.

I was banned after that.

Who the hell spends $40k on an engine?????

I mean is it even possible to spend that much on an engine for a street car?

A friend of a friend has spent $35,000 on the motor for his series 2 rx7, last time out it did a 10.1 on slicks and is in the shop for more power mods now, but will never be registered again. He is hoping for mid to low 9's.
