Did you notice the seller is in USA? The plates are NSW

Posts WORLDWIDE...good on ya :censored:

Free Shipping...

Starting bid is 123 :spoton:

Very much a Fraud I'd say

You can contact ebay and file a complaint and ebay can look into it. Also to actually list a car on ebay you have to pay $40 AU just to list it....

Seems strange to me :msm:

Hello fellow members.

Just want to let everyone know of a scam I came across the other day.

Now and then I jump on to eBay to see if there is any good bargains going on

BA Fords when I stumbled across a bargain too good to be true.

There was a BA XR6 Sedan for sale (Urgent sale must sell). As you do, I had a look and they were selling it for $9000 (BARGAIN), so I read everything they had to say about the car. It was from Vic.

2003 BA Xr6 Sedan Auto

2600kms

Leather Seats

Premium Sound

Sat Nav

Momo Leather Steering Wheel -Sports Shifter

After Mark It DVD onto ICC

Tint

ect ect

Sounds bloody good hey. So I emailed them to find out more and why the urgent sale. The following day, I check my email and jumped onto Ebay again, only to find that the car was no longer there. (mmmmm). I once again sent them a email asking why is the car not on eBay anymore.

Replied back with...... "I received too many emails regarding the sale of my car, that's why I removed it from eBay. It is still available for sale though."

After asking too many questions about the car and the purchase (stating I would only accept COD), he never replied back - SHOCK!

I'll keep it short just by saying, Be very careful everyone.

Find a copy of the email that this loser sent me for your enjoyment...

Must be the same guy as a host of other eBay cheap car scams. There has been about half a dozen or so (probably more) that I've heard about in the last few months including BA GT and SS Commodore. It is the same letter in the same broken english.

There's a scam going (not sure if it's coneected to this one or a seperate one)where the guy finds a legitimate car for sale on another website like Carsales and attempts to pass it of as his on eBay.

I recently advertised my XR6T for sale on eBay and the auction finished without meeting the reserve and some scammer emailed the highest bidder offering to sell "his" car to the bidder at a few hundred $$ more than the final closing bid. Luckily the guy had already emailed me for some more pics previously and knew that the email address of this scammer was different to mine so didn't get sucked in.
