This person might have taken the photo and copied the numbers off the rego label. They might use a fake eBay account, and take your money and disappear. How much are they asking? If I knew anyone in Tas I would ask them to take a look for you. Sorry mate.CheersNige Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/12897-the-ebay-scam-thread/page/24/#findComment-871687 Share on other sites

If he wasn't/isn't the owner - How can he know so much about it?But... If I check the REVS, write-off registry, Owner papers (Rego) and (Down the track) RAC check, is there anything else I can do to check?Nige, now that you mention it, the car pictures all look like they've been taken at a yard... I thought he would have taken them when he bought it...No-one here is from TAS are they Cheers,Dan Edited 03/05/09 09:16 AM by NVT Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/12897-the-ebay-scam-thread/page/24/#findComment-871693 Share on other sites

I'll have to sort out what 'transport' means exactly with him...And for all you waiting for the price - He is asking $25,000...Cheers,Dan Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/12897-the-ebay-scam-thread/page/24/#findComment-871703 Share on other sites

It is also a bit too cheap to be legit Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/12897-the-ebay-scam-thread/page/24/#findComment-871711 Share on other sites
