Thanks, I have reported that one aswell.

The problem with these scammers is they are using accounts stolen by keylogger worms. The owners of the account do not know it is even happening.

I hope they get busted.

some-one hacked into our ebay account and placed a bid on a bike in america and because we didn't pay we got kicked off at one stage, but some-one has been sending emails to users on updating their info, which is a fraud

Haha,

Just for fun I thought I'd play along, asked him to prove the authenticity of the vehicle by providing a VIN and FPV build number or I would not be interested.

I did get the same reply Cranky Ben received originally.

2nd reply:

Hi again,

The car is already crated at Lufthansa Air Cargo... and all the car papers are in the car! Unfortunately sice I have payed the crateing fee I don`t have acces to the content anymore.

That means that unfortunately I cannot provide you that informations, I am really sory, I assure you that the car is not stolen and never been involved in any accidents, if for any reason you don`t like the car or just don`t want to keep it you will be fully refunded.

I will be waiting your e-mail.

I hope that you haven`t changed your mind on this deal. Please do not forget that this deal is protected by square trade.

I will be waiting your reply.

- hmmm -

Another auto responder message?

So what's the deal. I pay $5500, He walks with cash and I'm left with the promise of a refund if the mystery car isn't delivered to my door? C'mon, please!

He has photographed himself, look in the reflection of the GT badge on the bootlid!

Unscrupulous looking character if I ever saw one! Looks a bit like soft-cro actually!
