Hi,

The subject doesn't quite explain it... I have had a new tyre put on the passenger rear wheel due to accident damage. The other 3 tyres are 16 months old (17,000km). Should I take the spare out of the boot and replace the drivers rear wheel with it to balance things up somewhat? :banghead:

Its always a good idea to have the tyres with the most grip on the front wheels.

Okay, enquring minds ask "Why"? I would have thought it would be best for the most grip to be on the drive wheels???

Because you use your front wheels for cornering.

You can always get out of oversteer, but if you understeer your f*cked.
