I have plenty of pics of the Expensive Daewoo vs ford show They had the bonnet closed so I didnt actually see the inside of the engine bay. Perhaps emailing brad garlick ford and asking for pics would be good. For 2200 it must have good piping in it.

Wouldn't Ford have a patent on it? Originally came out on Mustangs back in the 60s and then featured on the XY GT here in Australia in 1970. It was parked in my street yesterday, I must say it did look mean, but I prefer Macka's as it seems to sit higher that the GT-P one.

If you want to put one on your car you can just get one from Rare Spares and put it on or I am I missing something?

I think the patent only applies if it's the exact same, if you made it 1mm bigger or something it wouldn't matter, not sure though, either way it looks cool. Scotty Tav Member 65 Member For: 20y 7m 20d Posted 24/09/04 07:38 AM Share Posted 24/09/04 07:38 AM It's a hole in the bonnet with a Ford product installed in it. I don't see how anyone other than ford can lay claim to it. That is like someone claiming to have a patent on puting a sunroof in you car. I don't think anyone can stop you. I don't think anyone can stop you.Guy's Its not the actual shaker scoop that I've taken out a patent on. Its the designed and concept underneath it, that is mine. As I said earlier I have designed it specifically for the xr6turbo. I wanted to use the shaker on it because its a Ford icon, that all Ford enthusists can relate to. I could have used any scoop to trap the colds air.I don't see where you can buy factory ford turbo using them? do you?If you want to see what you get for your $2250 go the www.shaker.com.au I think you'll be dissappointed with what you get for your hard earned. You'llpay big money for very little performance gain. macka
