Guest Speedevil™ Guests Posted 09/09/04 11:20 PM Share Posted 09/09/04 11:20 PM Yep, Just had a 15,000KM service done on mine and it feels like they forgot to put the turbo pipes back on. The thing is sluggish and has no peak at all, feels just like the standard XR6.Have to find someone better than Ford to service it. You'd think these guys would take a bit of pride in their work... Try and keep those SS 'Dore at bay.. On top of what I'd said, the car has also become hard to start and there's a coolant leak - I can't see it but I can smell it. These and the fuel consumptions that you guys are posting... something's not bloody right. The car was fine before the 15k service. your coolant leak might be the water pump seel, it will drip down onto something hot and evaporate and its hard to find, but does smell, that's what mine did, dealer said it was fairly common.Dazza. Guest Scootre Guests Posted 10/09/04 06:34 AM Share Posted 10/09/04 06:34 AM Hi Turb06Thanks for that tip, I'll get a torch to it and check.I got the car back a short time ago. Sure enough, a pipe was found disconnected. Ho hum. I've reset the fuel calc to see if there's a diff. The reckon they couldn't find any coolantant leaks. I go to my local mechanic at Bridgestone Smithfield. Lots cheaper, and reliable.
