Somewhere between the chime at 80 and the light on at 50. Prefer Woolies on a Sunday, Monday or Tuesday - cheaper days in Sydney according to www.motormouth.com.au

I voted "Empty" as the chime sounding is the trigger for me.

vaughan ,don't know where you live but no offence, but I wouldn't put that :spoton: in my T.

BTW I fill up via the guage between 1/4 and empty as the DTE and beeps etc means jack due to the flow rate of the bigger injectors stating you have anywhere between 10-15% more ks than you really do

er, did you know that Caltex and Woolies have a joint venture going? Woolworths sell Caltex fuel now as far as I know.

This would be right although I do not use it as they do not sell 98.

I was filling when it got down to fumes, but now I do it about 1/2 left to avoid fuel starvation, which occurs somewhere under 1/4 to go.

Scotty

A little birdie tells me that you have a particularly bad record with running out of fuel, oh seller of valueless property ... ;)

... 3 times now, is it? ...

I don't like to let the tank empty any further than about 1/4. Just got this thing about dirt and crap, sediment, etc., in the bottom of the tank. :banghead:

That may well be the case now. But in their" petrol plus " outlets pre alliance they were selling some cheap nasty stuff. Still wouldn't chance it just the same as I am not 100% sure that they are sourcing all fuel from Caltex.

When my legs get tiered , coz I push her around most days because I love her, but fuel is to bloody expensive, and I feel lonely without my xr baby in the parking lot where I am. I normally last about 3 days.

Twice thank you spleen & the 2nd time I got it restarted with a bottle of 1125 Bundy. Well the contents were long gone & filled up with petrol she fired up Black Panther & drove back to blessed service station.
