Last night a decided to give my 1500km auto T for a run to see how quick she is, After 3 runs the best time I could get was 14.63 with another friend in the car and a full tank of fuel.

The brake fade after the third run was worry I had a very hard time pulling her up.

I think less a friend and fuel should be able to sheer a couple of tenths of that, what do you guys and gals think.

Pretty good time mate. I had 2 passengers in mine with a full tank and out of two runs my best time was 15.1 on the G Tech Pro. I need more practise with my take offs, I find that I do not give enough revs or even too much, I need more practise but the car is still too new to having more runs and getting better times. By the way I have a manual.

It is a bit of an art to get the take off right, all my runs done last night was with traction control on and it seems to bog the car down alot when you hit about 2500rpm, the funny thing is it didn't even occur to me to turn off traction control, I think traction still cuts in even whens it switched off.

How much $$$ is a gtec pro to purchase? Is it the same equipment that the journos use or something less accurate.

The meter is worth around $370 and is meant to be very accurate. It is very important to estimate the car weight as accurate as possible, a very straight road is also required to get a accurate reading. at the end of the day it will give you an idea especially if your thinking about tweaking.

Ive ordered the Gtech Pro Competition directly from the US @ $512 AUS including delivery!

When are you expecting delivery of the gtech? Should be hours of fun to be had there.

It will be good to see how healthy that xr of yours is.
