Also, simply replacing the cat on the standard exhaust wont do it either.

Has anyone yet proven a liit for the standard exhaust with a hi flow cat.

Youd want to change the air intake and piping to be running just 15psi for stage 3 power. Also, simply replacing the cat on the standard exhaust wont do it either. The aps kits cost money for a reason.

The RDP intercooler kit comes with new stainless pipe work, you would, of course, add a second intake to the airbox. I'm not sure why you think the standard cat-back exhuast is so bad, I mean it's a Mendrel-bent twin 2.25" with straight-through mufflers (except the centre muffler which most ppl have removed anyway).

also I think you need to quit waving the APS flag so bloody hard! :spoton:

Would anyone know the different flow rates of the various cats available and what sort of power they are good for. It would be good to know the limits of the standard cat compared to the APS and other cats, including the 5" cat and Scotty's custom cat.

Hi Guys,

We are testing the pipe on LOK11's car at the moment, looks good so far. We may offer it on an exchange basis for each vehicle. What this will mean is you are only replacing one section of the exhaust. The cat is 5" but obviously tapers at each end and it also has a much nicer collector before it splits into the twin pipes.

Pictures and pricing to come.

Any news on this yet Lokkie.

5" is a bit insane considering that the vl turbos that run 9 second quar only run 3.5 or 4 " and they make 600 to 700 rwkw

700rwkws! :w00t2: and which one would that be?

Dave.

With just the change in the cat, will the car require re-tuning? :kissmy: I have just fitted a modified cat, and the car is subsequently overboosting and shuts down the power after 4,500rpm on hard accelerating.

Stef or anyone else how have you overcome this?
