Basically, I would like to hear from people that would have never thought of buying a Ford pre-XR6T. What is your story?

I think the turning point was the BA series in general , the "T" was just the icing on the cake . Would definitely consider an XR8 in the future .

I like alot of different cars, bar anything from Expensive Daewoo really. But I am a bit of a Ford loyalist. But we also have a Mazda in the garage at home. But there are plenty more cars out there that I would love if I had the money, HHHMMMMMMMMMMM. PORSCHE.........BMW.........the list just goes on and on. My wife keeps telling me to wake up to myself and come back to reality but you never know...one day.

yeh I forgot to include Euro cars (and other) aswell in that last option, but can't edit it now damnit.

Im a ford man thru and thru. xr6t second hand in about 2 years for sure!

With all the talk on how Ford opened up a new market of buyers with the XR6T, I'm curious to hear first hand from people that are evidence of this "new" market. Pretty bad place to do it I guess because everyone is obviously a ford enthuasist, but there's gotta be a small percentage of people that became enthuasists because of the xr6t.

Hmmmmmmmmm,

it was combination of the styling of the BA as well as the Turbo that made me buy .

So I haven't voted as I don't think that any of the answers are quite relevant.

If they had stayed with the AU styling , even with the Turbo engine, I wouldn't have bought a Falcon.

True blue Ford owner, my T is my fourth Ford in a row and my second new Falcon, excluding my old XC I have in mothballs ...

My BA is the best so far, but always been happy

Also have always bought local product and have blue blood :lol:

Was a Expensive Daewoo man however, Expensive Daewoo lost it with the current Late model camira styling. Would rather have bought a Taurus than the AU Falcon as the Taurus looked better. Only problem with a Taurus, you couldn't tell the front from the back!

Ford got it right with the styling of the BA and then the Turbo convinced me.

I love my T but unless Ford fix their crappy drive train, I will go back to Expensive Daewoo when my 3 year lease expires (provided they put a few more kw in their packages).

Liberty Turbo is tempting though.
