Gees man, next time you walk in, check to see where all the cameras are hidden. I'm sure you're going to be the star of some new TV show like Candid Camera.

Maybe there's a huge prize waiting for you.

Scotty - AM barely works becase by tint is metallic and its really dark. I thiught it was a good trade off :spoton:

ITS ALL FIXED!! THe Fascia and bulbs were replaced today so they are XR spec. They installed soundproofing in my doors and fine tuned the system and set all my levels for me and the stereo sounds excellent. It pumps hard and is clear as day even at stupid high volumes.

Everything works including the entire ICC in the right colour. It was an absolute joy to listen to my favourite music again through a decent stereo.

Northfield has offered me decent discounts in the future should I shop there. And really I have no reason not to now that everything has been cleared up. Mym ums WRX is going in for a full install and she will be receiving a nice descount and getting A1 service after my dramas. :pinch:

Now I think I might sleep in the car tonight and fall asleep to some of my Favourite CDs.

Now for some quick photos. I can set the display to one of 1331 different colours, I have cleverly chosen a blue and red to match the dials of the XR (Me so SMRT!) :pinch:

The Amps, all 800 watts:

Rednut, that's really good to here/see it all worked out for you in the end... Sometimes trying experiences only amplify the joy of the end result (kind of like the 800Ws ampilfying the system now!).

Maybe I missed it somewhere in there, but what did you use for the front stage? Sound proofing in the doors is something worth doing so I am glad to see you went to the trouble - well done with the system mate.

I have had my T ute for a few days now and last night I did a full scan of the room for my components and the wiring needed. I see you have a sub box behind the passenger's side. Obvioulsy from your comments you are more than happy with the performance of the sub. Do you know what the dimensions and final capacity of the box was after the sub was installed? I did some maths and know what I need capacity wise to get my W3 sub happily kicking in there, but I have yet to decide on a shape (dimensions) to use to give me the capacity I need. I'd be interested to know what kind of sound your box and sub is making with frequencies etc as it looks nice and small which is exactly what I would like too.

Again matey - Impressive! :pinch:
