I test drove an XR8 with a MOMO wheel and it was really good compared to the normal wheel, but I don't know if I could justify spending that amount of money for one. Maybe in the future when they are cheaper.

just for the record, there is a difference ebtween the MOMO wheel and the sports wheel - the one pictured in my post above is the sports wheel for $695.

How is the sports wheel different to the standard XR wheel? Is it actually smaller or just a different look?

Yep, different wheel!

*chunky* some people would say....it is thicker and a completely different feel...once I drove a Falcon with one, I knew I had to have one :censored:

I've got the black leather - looks awesom :gooff: am extremly happy with it...just wipe it over and that's it...actually bought those meguires leather wipes - make the seats shiney without leaving a greasy film.

Unfortumately the T goes on dirt roads every couple of weeks and the dust is in the air - leaves dust over everything even with the windows up - its just in the air. Its the only reason why I got the leather cause I didnt want the material to look icky after a while - just wipe over and good as new

Never seen or used the sports steering wheel so cant comment there :gooff:

Sounds like you need a pollen filter!

na..the dust is literally in the air..so as soon as u open the door to get in or out....tadaaaa!!!

In winter its not a problem but in summer when everythings dry and all the farmers are plowing their fields to dust...idiots....the dust storms start happening and it all goes everywhere. :censored: Cant avoid it...cant escape it. :spoton: just have to make the best of it and clean the seats

Hi All.

Did a search but came up with nothing.  What I am after are pictures of:

- The sports steering wheel (not the momo) which retails for $695.  Is the steering wheel worth the extra dollars?

- Pictures of the sports leather seats found in the XR6 Turbo Ute which retail for $1,495.  Are the options to get the bubble ones and ones without bubbles??

Cheers.  Just trying to work out the options on my Mk2.

I have the standard wheel and my mate (with his tricked up 360kw ute :beerchug: ) has the better of the 2. The main difference is the way it just (sits) in yer hands. Go the extra $700

The GT I had the absolute grace and pleasure of driving for the week had a Sport's steering wheel and compared the standard one I can say it is awesome, it has great grips for your hands and makes turning the wheel so easy!

I have attached a picture for your reference.
