It going to paste the GT whether people like it or not. I think its even better that it will easy keep up with an LS2, and more than likely out run it throught the gears on roll on accelaration.

Will be funny as fukc either way! Can't wait!

and by the way does anyone believe that there will be any performance gain for the gt with the t56

Not really - it isn't about performance it is about gearbox problems that the TR3650 has.

However if the GT wasn't speed limited than there would be a top speed advantage with the T56 as the engine would probably manage max revs in fifth whereas it can't get close with the tall fifth of the TR3650.

I thought all FPV were not speed limited.

The F6 with the t56 should pull in pretty respectable top speed and acceleration numbers.

I would expect (real world):

0-100 in <5.5 seconds (5.3 seems right)

1/4 in 13.3 seconds

Vmax 260-275 kmph.

It should be breathing down the neck of things like older HSV GTS, previous generation of M5, Type R jag etc. In a line and on the track.

STi's/EVO with superior grip will hassel it on tigher slower tracks or in the wet. But on a big long track (ie bathurst) on a dry day I would expect it to pull away from those.

With 550Nm of torque, I wouldn't be suprised if Ford was down quoting maxium power, and its more like 280-300kw. Given this, the huge torque that comes on early, a lighter than regular V8 kerb it should be a real weapon.

I think it will be surprising to see the results of its 0-100. Not sure how the ratio will affect accel to 100ks. Motor mag will be out shortly
