has anybodies car recently gone through FPV or currently there?

if so how long did it take or how long has it been there?

I was told today that may t6 is in final assembly and should leave on the 14th for

the turbo work and sunroof.

Mine has been at FPV for a week.

There is a lack of sunroofs which may caused you problem.

Length of time at FPV depends on your spec.

Std turbos they plumb the turbo.

They also fit premium brakes and sunroofs.

It does seem to be the bottleneck in the production line and the recent FPV day didnt help

Unless it is just my luck, my ute was built some 4 weeks ago and I still do not have it. FPV and transport seem to be the culprits. All my excitement is gone because of hollow promises................

turbo6, that sucks big time. I would be blowing up big time. it seems other people on the site are going through FPV in about 10 days.

I was told 10 days this morning. My car went there 2 days ago. Delivery due on the 25th March.

Here's hoping.

If that's the case then I have a wait?... My Pursuit is on the line at ford ( in trim yesterday).. So maybe at FPV next week?.Do the FPV vehicles take longer then the turbos?. While I'm on the subject, does anyone know when you can get your build No. ( the one on the console).. Is that Ford or FPV?.. already have SIDO & VIN... & I'm hoping for a low numerical build No.

Sorry Charlie,

I don't know a thing about FPV build numbers. The only numbers I'm interested in is the EDA (estimated date of arrival).

Dave,

Thanks for the encouragement. It's seems like a lifetime ago I was whinging in your ear over the long wait issue.

I am at the stage now where I really don't care anymore. I have been told "this Friday" for the last FOUR weeks in a row! I have no car (sold mine because I got told this Friday) and I am SO pissed off!

After repeated calls to FPV and my dealer (who shall remain nameless!) I have been informed today that my ute in fact will be unloading off the truck sometime tonight or tomorrow with delivery on Tuesday. I am so sceptical now it's ridiculous. Guess who will be checking the dealers holding yard over the weekend?? Guess who will be up on murder charges if there is no sign of it by Monday morning........
