I am gauranteed 40 000km min out of tyres, where as stock Dunlops, 15 000km Min. ONnly 120 dollars difference in price. Works out cheaper in the long run. Ride comfort is a bit less , but it feels more sporty now, I HAVE BECOME ONE WITH MY CAR. AS for the buckles, these rims are of such high quality you can hit pot holes doing 100km/hr and it won't hurt them.PLUS THEY ARE SHINE in the SUN Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/12528-mkii-gt-and-gt-p-to-come-with-19-wheels/#findComment-158534 Share on other sites

The damage wasn't due to low tyre pressues either because I run 41psi in the fronts and 38 in the rear. All wheels will ding and the lower the profile the higher the risk. While I was at Lynfords I was told the wheels for the series 2 are listed as changed, and that the GT-P will get 19s, while they will be an option on the GT . It looks like FPV are continuing to get their proverbials together. I was strong on a Typhoon but didn't want to sacrifice the GT and even I will admit it's a bit silly having 2 cars for the sake of it. Now with the confirmation of a six speed manual, a better diff ratio and 19 inch rims, plus all the present Bolt ons which can be swapped over, BA GT No 732 will become a six speed manual BA GT mk 2 in Shockwave Blue with an electric roof and dare I say it NINETEEN INCH RIMS roll on November. It all just keeps on getting better Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/12528-mkii-gt-and-gt-p-to-come-with-19-wheels/#findComment-158571 Share on other sites

Is there also a diff ratio change? Keep on killin those 300k commies  . You still have too much money  Cheers Rob Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/12528-mkii-gt-and-gt-p-to-come-with-19-wheels/#findComment-158579 Share on other sites
Geeseman Donating Members 1,805 Member For: 21y 7m 18d Location: Sydney Posted 26/08/04 05:07 AM Share Posted 26/08/04 05:07 AM I have 19's and they ride very well. You only buckle them when you hit potholes which is what you'll do when you hit them with 18's. They look far better than 18's and the only real issue is the increase in road noise Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/12528-mkii-gt-and-gt-p-to-come-with-19-wheels/#findComment-158583 Share on other sites
