I am looking at buying a set of rims from Temptyres. Anyone have these rims on a BA?? I am in WA so I will get them sent over.

They are Agle - 18 x 8.5 Full Shadow Chrome. I can only go upto 18 inch and I think these look the goods. They will go on either an XR or Ghia in dank blue or black.

Thanks!!

PS. 18's like this in WA are around :spoton: $2400

I looked at those wheels at Tempe Tyres last weekend. They look great in shadow chrome (I'm looking to put wheels on a black car) but I didn't like the way the rivet pattern is arranged. Just call me picky but the "space" with two rivets looks a bit wide and a third rivet should have been put in so as to make it more proportional or balanced to the eye. Also, the valve stem comes out in a space between where the rivets are positioned which makes the wheel look even more "unfinished". They are a Starcorp wheel made in Taiwan if that interests you at all. That is probably why they are so cheap compared to Aussie, Jap or Euro wheels. About $250 each if I remember. Just looking at them it is hard to judge the quality. Just hope they are up to scratch compared to the more noted wheels about. :spoton:

Thanks for the info Turbo! As a I am in WA I can not go and see the rims myself, all I can judge from are the pics!! I do like the design of them and yes the shadow chrome does look nice.

Not sure if anyone in WA would sell them. I will have to ring around and ask. Those rims there are $1600 with Falken tyres, which I think is cheap considering that 2 years ago I payed $1750 for a set of 17inch CSA rims with cheap tyres here in WA.

I got the Nankang in 19", had a choice of Falken and Hangook as well I think but had heard from other forum members that Falkens were a bit average and I had Nankang before and found them to be OK so I chose them.

I have those tyres on my stock 18's at the moment, the seem to be a good quality budget tyre, and they didnt cost $540 each like the standard dunlops.

How much are the tyres each for teh 19's

Dazza.

If you dont mind me asking how much do they cost?? Tyres for 18s are not too bad in general, there seems to be a good selection of budget tyres in the 200-300 range.

Considering I do less then 20000kms a year, tyres last me a while! My 17's on my EL have been on there for 40000kms now and still have heaps left in them! :spoton:
