Quick update on my situation, one week on and still nothing has been done by the Police. I went to the station and complained so they took a formal statement off me and said 'this may be worth pursuing in court' as the guy has been busted for drink driving twice before plus other crimes.. Just waiting on the cops getting a formal statement from my neighbour then we will see what happens. Looks like I am not up for the excess, but who knows.. sick of it all.. Work supposedly began on the car on friday.

You might be interested Ed.Boy Blunder sold off all the XR8 bits(over 40 calls he reckons)engine/trans going into a Cobra kit car, sold his poxy WB Caprice and is picking up a tidy white ED XR6 auto tomorrow. Its got exhaust mods, lowered and he's putting the 17's from the XR8 on it.Needs a bit of paint on the bootlid and rear bumper. Not a bad car for a lad in year 12 but he's going to have to put in plenty more long days in the vineyard to pay for it. :o What sort of pedal effort is required for that clutch?I've had heavy duty clutch/pressure plates in Holdens with mechanical clutchs and you needed go go gadget legs to get the pedal to the floor or does the hydraulic set up do all the work?
