Done a Brake upgrade on the fronts today

DBA 4000 slotted rotors

Bendix Ultimate pads...

Give them a week and then I'll throw the Tapley meter on to see how much deceleration they can achieve

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

Just a question on this....

Why did you decide to go for rotors that are capable of standing 700 degree's celcius, and pads that can only stand 450c ?

I had that combo on my last car for 6 weeks, till I ripped the pads apart (I actually did this) at Wakefield park....

Moved over to Ferodo Formula after that, rated to 650c.

As stated by DBA ,A disc rotor core temperature must not exceed 630 degrees

The ultimate pads have a CWT of 550 degrees

To answer your question , the Pads were Free and I paid $110 for the Wiper slot 4000 series rotors ... If Ferodo ,QFM , etc were supplied they would have been used instead....

Fair enough. I wasn't 100% sure on the DBA temp, but I am 100% sure about the 450c Bendix temp. I found this info straight from Bendix Aust.

Mmmmm but do you have to enter both days to be able to just run on the test n tune day? And is anyone allowed to enter? Some people say anyone can, others say its only for the 4 6 and rotor entrants..

I might have to ring up and ask..
