Well you can take it from me, FORDTECH knows what he's talking about!

That's actually who I planned to borrow the tech manual off so I could post the detailed description of police mode as I mentioned above.

Well I have had the ute since October last year and I did not know that....LOL. :ermm:

OK! If you open the glove box you'll see a little black folder, inside that there's something commonly known as an owners manual...now listen carefully, this bits very important...if you read the owners manual you will discover all types of useful info about your car! :lol: :blink:

Thanks guys, I was waiting for it. I have read the manual. They way I understood it is that when you put it over into performance mode you were actually manually shifting the gears not just putting the stick over there and leaving it.

But thanks for the sarcasm anyhow :-)
