Calling all XR6 NA owners!

Hey guys I am another NA driver. Its not an XR but a BA Fairmont. No engine mods as such and I dont really intend od doing anything drastic appart from maybe a CAI with a better filter. Something like the XR8 setup with dual intakes. Its only a cruiser

I had an exhaust on the EL and now that I drive the BA I love how its quiet and I wanna keep it that way. I thought a CAI would be good and I might see a drop in fuel consumtion too. Getting 11.8l/100km atm

Last time I checked, they have the same donk. Just different gear ratios and a few minor things here n' there.

Silverbullet came over to my place last weekend, The 'Silverbullet' is quite impressive to say the least. Thankfully mine's not as sluggish in comparison so that cheered me up a little, I was a little hesitant to jump in the passenger side as I would have been upset if mine didn't come close...lol. Simon's XR6 NA had the edge.

I'd love a T but reality hits me in the face (or is that the wife). NA it is like it or lump it......I try to say this to myself over and over...At the end of the day, they have the ability to launch well enough. So they are not a T? So what! It's still a Ford, still a XR series Falcon, they rock!!!

I was either going to go full hog with the supercharger or leave it as is but for $70 or so. The XR8 2nd CAI idea sounds tops. Still keen to help out Simon? I'm keen to do the 2nd CAI for sure now, just for a wee bit more punch might be a good thing. Even if I still go ahead with the Votech, what's $70? Better than paying $600+ for a larger throttle body that would only give you an extra 2-5kw.

im another NA XR6 owner only had the car 3 weeks and came from a turbo car, all I can say is I miss the turbo feeling but could not be happier with the car I got.

not to sure if I will mod to much maybe exhaust and that's about it cause my last car was a bit modified and it only cost me money and lots of it.

I had a nissan skyline R32 gts-t had for just over a year and needed a work ute so I sold it to get the falcon, I sold the skyline with in 5 days of advertising it

Hey Wayne, give me a yell when you get the XR8 CAI and I can organise the extention tube and a time to help install it for you.
