Don't panic, I don't intend converting the Turbo to LPG

However, we also have a 2000 Model AUII Futura which the wife uses ( or should that be, abuses ), and due to increasing petrol costs, we have given thought to selling it and buying a smaller car. One that she can "aim" at the garage opening with a little less requirement for concentration

There are times that I take the Futura to the office so that I don't clock up too many k's on the Turbo....so if we do sell the Futura and get a smaller car, I'm stuck with driving it to the office on occasions too ( 150km round trip ).

Therefore, I now wish to investigate the option of LPG conversion of the Futura so that we still benefit from the "safety" aspect and comfort of a larger car.

Anyone able to recommend an LPG converter in Sydney ???

( Preferably in the Liverpool area.....or close by )

I can tell you where not to go! Had my VT Late model camira butchered by the Gas Man at Alexandria. A professional job apart from fitting of the Flashlube kit which was entirely incorrect and resulted in the destruction of my inlet valves.

I have no other experience with other gas fitters.

Wouldn't acknowledge liability. In the end it has cost them as I have quite a few mates with LPG cars and all have steered clear of The Gas Man after my experience with them. I would be happy with another LPG car (even with the power loss) but there are gas fitters and there are gas fitters!
