My mum ordered her MY05 WRX today, so next week I will add a Black WRX to my kill sheet (with my mum driving).

Can I have a go too?

After the auto salon on sunday night I followed a vt ss and vx club sport out of the convention centre at the frist set of lights they were sitting side by side in the two left lanes so I pulled into the thrid lane just waiting for the lights.

As the lights change they took of hard so I put the foot down with the t slightly side ways trying to get grip I past both of them at the next set of lights the vx driver gave me the finger and said it would not hapen again as the lights change we took off and yes that was kill number three for the night.

I smiled all the way home.

On the way back from the city on a Saturday night down Princess Hwy I was driving at 80 km/h as per speed limit. It was a cool night with not much traffic on the road at 2:00 in the morning. Just minding my own thing and out of no where there was this done up WRX with a modified exhaust and a larger intercooler comes up side by side. We were passing Noble Park when the lights decided to go red. I thought to my self I had no chance! but hey why not have a crack...

So (been an auto) off went the traction control, foot on the brake and rev it up to 2300 rpm just before the wheels start spinning. I find past 2500rpm wheels start spinning and have no traction which results in a bad run.

So there we were at the lights waiting for them to go green and she just launched!

Was a car length at the start and u could see his lights in the side mirror move with every gear change...He was catching up when I was in second but not by much and then in third See Ya Later and pulled away!

Im new to this site as u can see I still have "training wheels" Just like to say that u guyz rock and what a fantastic website.

GO THE FORDS :badmood:

P.s sorry about the essay just got a bit passionate hee hee

Good work, WRXs aren't much chop if you don't launch them like its Apollo 11. We own a WRX and believe me its far from quick, unless you drive it in such a way as to make it feel like its 100 years old in a matter of years.

I havn't come across any WRX drivers that are prepared to launch properly, so until I do I most likely will beat them.

I did work with a bloke who did drive his Rex like that, and his car was very fast, but only to 100kmh, you couldn't make you 1/4 mile any better if you don't have the HP to back it up.
