More simple solution......slowdown in the wet.... :ermm:

Why do you need to do 140kph in the rain?

To get to the destination more quickly, thus spending less time on the dangerous roads on which we are forced to drive and share with less competent drivers than ourselves. :smilielol:

The boys preaching bout RAIN-X speak the truth!!!:clap:

Yeah, but it does have a couple of problems IMO.

1. For some reason it is difficult to get a clear screen on foggy mornings.

2. If you use it on the side windows, the bloke at the Drags who writes the number on your window, hates you.... :k24t:

Even driving at less than the legal limit in rain one often meets strong and gusty winds in the presence of a weather front or trough associated with the rain. Travelling at say 90kph into 50 kph winds with exacerbating gusts from the slipstreams of oncoming traffic it is not uncommon to meet realtive headwinds gusting in excess of 160kph whilst driving quite 'safely' thus I see Zap's point as quite valid.

The tiny upwards aero lip at the windscreen end of the bonnet may exacerbate the upwards airflow beneath the blades at speed; though designed to make the air flow over them when they are parked it may provide a large part of the problem when operating too, causing them to lift off prematurely. Maybe double or stronger springs would be more effective than blades on the arms which could be further effected by the airflwo over the bonnet and windshield.

Just a thought....

I have done 180km/h in the wet at eastern creek.....Remember these are meant to be "sports cars" and thus can be driven in more than peak hour traffic. I think that saying slow down or that it ok for wipers not to work at 140km/h is acceptable....ITS NOT ACCEPTABLE :spoton:

Guess you'll be trading it in for an M5 then - it seems that they are OK :spoton:
