Mine does constantly. Do you think its a problem with the unit? i have tried all different brands including KODAK Gold's and the Verbatim Blue Audio cds.. but occassionaly it jumps, havent noticed it on original cds though most likely because i dont play many of them. I like to burn my favourite songs on to one CD. If every time that a new song that I like comes out I have to burn a new CD, I'm going to end up using a lot of CD's. While I realise that CD-R's don't cost much, I think that the money I would potentially save if I could reuse the one CD again and again would be much better used paying off the car quicker. (I hope that makes sense!) I just think that a car with all the great modern technology that the XR6T has should be able to do something as simple as read a CD-RW. I haven't had any problems with CD's jumping (copies or originals). Does it do it randomly? At the same spots on the CD's? Does it only do it when you go over bumps, etc. or even when you are stationary?

Sounds pretty odd BlueXR6Turbo. How old is the re-writeable CD you are trying to use BlueXR6Turbo?

I have an 8yo Alpine car cd player that plays them no worries but won't play normal cdrw's.I think they're more reflective than the older cdrw's

Posted 16/04/03 09:52 AM Share Posted 16/04/03 09:52 AM No problems with CDR's either, sound great, definately burn at 1x for best quality . No jumping or other nasties. Only problem I've noticed is the odd looks I get from other motorists when Ozzy is doing what he does best (apart from getting pissed) :D Chris, try running a cleaning disk through your system, if it still jumps get it looked at.
