Oh it might accelerate to 240km quickily, but the XR6 still has 40NM more torque than the 190kw Expensive Daewoo engine through out the rev range. So if the Expensive Daewoo gets to 240 quick then I guess the N/A Xr6 gets there instantly.

If you got the revs up much, you better pray that you used Locktite on the nuts and bolts because damn it the thing buzzes and shakes so much that women will love it.

Sounds like all ya need is a dill doe to drive it then :spoton::w00t2: :o

No

It comes in three configurations. The one for the Aust market is 3.6 litre.

What about the new engine ad on tv wtf  : New engine or not its still a car of the 80,s with Mcpherson struts, trailing arms and not enough body rigidity for a fold down rear seat. Its light because its only half a car under the skin. It,ll take more than another thrashy V6 to make it a better car than the Falcon. However Ford need all the prodding and poking we can give them. They,ve been guilty in the past of relinquising market leadership in the 80,s through complacency and being reactive rather than proactive.Still can,t forgive them for no V8 1983-1990.

I must add too, that the acceleration time of 0-100 in 6.95 was for a MANUAL, there are N/A XR6 manuals on here that can better that time, it's nothing special. The manual N/A XR6 is often over looked due to it's bigger Turboed brother.
