Just booked my tickets for the Tassie round of the V8s. Must have been first in because I got Stand 1 row A. seats 1 & 2. :msm: and only $100 each.

I was just wondering if anyone has taken thier car over on the Spirit of Tassie? I'm a bit nervous about puting the T on a boat. Also will having a lowered car be a problem? I'm planning on staying for a week or so and giving the T a workout in the hills.

Yes I will be there. My estranged wife and my two children (4 and 5) live in Launceston and Lachie is a V8 nut (as he has met some of the drivers and my best friend races one of the cars)

The trip on the boat is good, your car will be safe.

Thanks for the advise. Unfortunatly I have to return to work on the 22nd so I'm not able to join the cruise :w00t2:

Might have to try and negotiate a little more time off.

Might have to catch up with you loop at the V8's, me and a mate will be going up in the ute. The T will be right on the boat I brought my ute in Melbourne and brought it back on the boat, no dramas at all

Only time to get nervous is when you see the water rising up the side of the boat.
