turbotom - I took the Sturt Highway up and back but me and my mate in his VY SS went for a drive on sunday on some backroads through Berri and Renmark. I think I can remember a downhill section somewhere along the line. Some nice roads out there to test high speed stability!

These cars are pretty stable at speed actually, I remember my EF Ghia used to shake and rattle a bit past 140km/h but the XR6T felt so much more comfortable, as if it wasn't trying!

I had second thoughts about driving to Melbourne for the Boxing Day cricket or the Grand Prix, but now I want to drive there because it is no hassle.

I've had mine for 17 months now and I love her as much as the day I got her.. :spoton:

The problem is though, now that you got the twin pipes how do you decide which pipe to root?

Hear Hear!!

I have had Shahin (My beasty) since April and everytime I get behind the wheel its smile time, there have been a few hiccups but the all round Bang for the Bucks, a good service department and quick repairs have meant I just love this car.

Regards

Like today I had the worst ever day at work on record, everything that could go wrong did. I was not happy after work and felt like sh*t. But I took the car into the Adelaide Hills for 15mins on my favourite road with my favourite music on and I was grinning like an idot after about 30seconds of driving. Now my mood has gone from bad to good all because of the car..

Glad to hear that someone else is infected with this "bug"

One of my colleagues actually suggested that I go for a drive to calm down and relax a bit yesterday. So of course I did, and came back about 90 minutes later!

As always there are the little gripes and issues, but all that aside, it is nothing short of fantastic! I don’t regret my purchase one little bit and would recommend one to anyone.

Trent.

Totally agree Maxx.

From Sydney I've driven to Queensland 4 times, and Melbourne once in 9 months. It's easily the best touring car I've owned.

I don't need much of an excuse to go for a long drive ... bring on Tassie.... as for overtaking you know your moving when I drop down to 4th, hit it hard and the traction control light comes on!
