I have never confessed to having "standard" mods. Most of my mods were original and all were cost effective and produced results. :crybaby:

I'm looking forward to getting Rumble back tomorrow. Amberley's have done some intake work aswell as fitting my Xede in place of the Unichip. I decided on this course of action so I could utilise the 2 maps that the Xede offers. I intend to have the switch mounted near the gear selector. I might even be able to utilise it at the drags. If the performance map has trouble with traction I can launch with the 270rwkw map and when I hit second flick the switch to the 3??rwkw map and that should get me into the 11's on street tyres, with a cat. :lol:

Thanks mate, you got me :) Not sure if it was that run or not, might have been one of my launches where I was smoking through 1st, 2nd, 3rd and into 4th!! (not good for times - too eager to beat the T beside me maybe). At least next time I go, I know how to launch - and more importantly how not to!

I'm not posting names or anything, I personally don't care what people do to their cars, it's their business.

But it seemed odd to me for some to claim others are conducting unfair or sneaky practice in terms of increasing the performance of their car at the drags while they might be endulging in some secret stuff themselves... :ermm:

Well done. must say I didn't see your 12sec run on the day but your car looked mighty strong nevertheless. No doubt the auto is much easier to run than the manual, I'm just stating what I saw on the day though.
