Clutch mod 3 is now complete

after testing different pressure plates and clutch plates I have now settled on

Aluminium flywheel with steel insert

cushion ceramic clutch plate with thicker buttons

uprated pressure plate rated at 1000kg load instead of factory 800kg

There is little to no clutch shudder as it depend on how much revs and clutch release...The factory used to shudder accordingly under the same conditions

Now the weakest link is fixed its time to find the next one with a horespower increase :spoton:

If anyone wants info on this clutch upgrade just PM me and I will point you in the right direction

there isnt anything keeping you to only using the kits to mod your car, you can look at Geea for example, although he doesnt use a unichip.

I will be getting a phase 1 and doing my own intake/exhaust/intercooler work and getting a retune on that. It wouldnt look as good as the APS product I am sure but it could work out to be a cheaper option and yield similar results.

Hey Turb06 have you been looking over my fence? :spoton: Stay tuned in the next couple of weeks!

What you have just described will be represented in power figures shortly. All I can say is there is a unichip involved and the legacy of BOOF. Just need to iron out some bugs :spoton:

I have just finished my intake piping mod to go with my shaker intake. It is ready now for my custom made intercooler.

Nothing wrong with APS products but I'm glad that I'm doing my own thing. My Hp will rate with the best of them and will look a lot better than most.

That is the good thing about these cars there is so many ways to get them to perform well.
