What do you think? Are they benificial and would be complementary to a good oil or are they just a very expensive bottle of goop with dubious benifits? Are there any dangers using them with a Turbo engine?

In most cases you are actually reducing the performance of the oil. Engine oils are formulated using a careful balance of additives and when you add something to the oil you are throwing out this balance. If it gives the motor an extra 100,000k's though it could be a good thing. I bought an old XC 302 years ago for a bush slugger/work transport the engine was a bit "had it" but I used the teflon crap for"old motors" in it and I got 200'000ks out of it without touching the engine, I sold the engine in the same condition as I bought it for $400 bucks

I just feel it works. I also use the recomended Castrol Magnatec oil in my turbo.
