The series II is a long way off how can anyone comment on the price they may be. I'm worried hambo_12 that you are never going to get around to buying your ute mate, you worry to much! Like Nike, just do it!

I really hope that the Series II incorporates worthwhile "under the skin" changes, rather than just the usual different wheel designs and a new badge & pinstripe. I'd be happy if the Series II incorporated no additional bells & whistles whatsoever, but instead gave us fixes to most of the teething problems, as well as stronger/better gearboxes which seem to be the weak link in the package thus far.

As for a hi-output turbo upgrade being an option, I hope Ford don't go that way. A boosted T should wear an FPV badge, and should include other distinguishing details to set it apart and make it something special, iiediately recognisable on the street. I'm sure such a car would sell like hotcakes (and hold far better resale) rather than a mix and match "options bin" approach which Ford has historically been addicted to.

An FPV T6.....bring it on!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The FPV xr6t is coming out,

and will debut at the

Melbourne Motor Show.

It will wear a Bigger

front bar ( Similar to the GT )

and will be around the 280kw

mark, with a new stronger

box.

And priced under the current GT.

Be nice to FPV people and tell them

the other cars you are interested

in buying and they become

extremely helpfull.

Cypher, what kind of price rise do you think the series II will incur? Any one else with opinions?

No one really knows. The only thing certain is that it will go up.

Oh and just because a car is selling well does not mean an update will not occur. If the Expensive Daewoo pull off the VZ really well then Ford have no choice but to react to these changes.

Who knows, maybe the Territory will get BA2 running gear. Anything is possible.

Can we assume this will be a BA2 model??

Hi Guys,

Probably nobody can answer this but I will ask it anyway.

In October the new FPV T is supposedly being released (at 280Kw). Does anyone know if there will also be a series II XR6T ??

I hope the FPV-T isn't the only option as $50K+ may be a little expensive for my budget.

I am getting a new one at the end of the year but have heard pricing on the FPV T will be higher than XR8!!!!

Hopefully a non-fpv XR6T series II will also be released.

Hope someone can help.

Gilto!!!!!

(please give us a better gearbox)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
