Ok guys, just hijack the topic.... Comon, keep on topic or write your own post ;)

I am not nick BTW, My name is Greg B) Iam from Toowoomba. Sorry nick (if viewing) I didn't realise the similarities between our ID's, can a moderator PM me so I can change mine?

Back to the topic now....

Any news on series 2?

Does the T5 actually break?

Would a 'newer' XR6t have g/box syncro probs and warped brakes still??

AND A NEW QUESTION.... If I plan on adding amps/subs, should I opt the premium sound?? the only benifit my dealer says is 6 in dash stacker, do the std units read MP3?

Cheers guys.... And stay on topic :)

A lot of people would probably agree with saying "Don't bother" with premium sound as it's nightmare material to upgrade the existing unit if you are planning some heavy duty audio gear. The Premium sound siuts me if you are not blasting out the rear window with bass but if you are looking for more gonads, do it yourself.

Also....No the Premium sound package with 6 CD stacker cannot read MP3 format. There is however a port or something you can opt for an additional cost?

MR Plow

1/ No news accept motor magazine reckon release next year late

2/ Well mine is still going well, havnt heard of broken one yet apart from syncro probs.

3/ Your guess is as good as mine

4/ If your upgrading probably not worth getting premium sound

5/ None of the units from Ford play MP3 ( need to plug external MP3 player into Aux Jack)

I said it one thread before, if you plan on modding your T, do NOT buy the manual.

Mine has been Chip Torqued and has approx 230kws at the wheels - the manual box is making all sorts of funny noises and is getting worse by the day.......ooops.........

I did a quick search but was unable to find anything. I will be ordering my "T" in the next couple of months. I would like to know if anyone has some info on specs and/or changes and dates for the update or series 2 BA. I am willing to wait if anything significant changes ie. standard brakes, manual box etc.
