I would love to have one (if ever made) but could not see myself parking it at the building site  .... and the missus sure would not be pleased about the fact that she would not get that family car she wanted after all

I think I will make my own. Lower my T a further 12mm so its on super lows, get the GT front bar (in Silhouette) and have a APS stage 1 kit fitted. Oh and of course my 800watt premium sound with 12" JL. Now that would be an F6!

It would be cheaper getting a new standard T ute and doing your own mods...get a lot more than 270fwkw's too... :nono:

Too true .. same as for the sedan. I don't see a lot of Typhoons selling - and an even bigger problem Ford will possibly have is that what they do sell they will take away from the GT market. The GT has been selling on badge only until now as the car itself is a little disappointing in the performance arena where it is (traditionally) seen as a leader. Sales momentum of all but XRs is flagging because the BA has got a reputation already for poor build quality. Hope the MkII fixes this.

I find it quite ironic that the BA has been heralded by the press and all and sundry as such a great car and it has been let down by recalls and other issues. The AU which was bagged by the press and all and sundry, even in it's first model run, had fewer recalls or build problems of any Ford model ever made in Australia. Long live the AU :greyscare:

I don't know what you are talking about regarding recalls. The BA has hardly had a recall. Are you refering to the amount of technical service bullitens to repair common faults. Ford has had 2 recalls this year, Expensive Daewoo 7 and suprisingly Toyota 9.

As for a F6 ute a mate of mine was told by one of the FPV guys that there was going to be one. 550nm with no traction control would be interesting in the wet.

Yeah, I shouldn't have called them recalls, all those common faults that are covered by TSBs. Just two eh? A lot better than the other mob! BUT there is no denying that the BA has had a heap more TSBs than the AU. I can only remember three on the AU and one recall. But I may be forgetting some ...

I have had my AUII in for two recalls, one for the thermo/radiator, the other for the steering bolt.

Who knows how many TSB there have been......

AN XR6T WAGON PLEASE!!!! (Manual)

I have a XR6T sedan but I really needed a wagon! Could not afford the stupid asking price for a Late model camira SS Wagon so I bit the bullet and got a manual T sedan.

When the lease runs out I am already planning to get second hand Commo SS Manual Wagon. Should be affordable at 2 years old I hope.
