Thank Brian, Will do and would definately be interested in catching up when your in Melbourne.

Could someone explain to me how to start the thread and also how to post pics similar to those posted by geea showing the catch cans in Big Micks thread so that you can all see my intake in all it's glory when its completed.

Bit of a computer nuff nuff

Thanks macka

I uploaded the photo's I wanted to post to photobucket.com. They resize them to 250kb I think. I then use the link they provide to post the pics.

Big Mick if you read this post it will also include a catch can. HeHeHe no pun intended you know what we've been talking about.

I look forward to seeing the results mate.

Well done on the proposed mods, it's always great to see someone thinking outside the square with mods on the T.

Geea,

Your more than welcome and for that matter anyone else how would like to come.

I'll put on a barby.  My wife would love to catch up with your misses again after  the wonthaggi cruise.  Bring your kids as well there's horses and tennis court they can play with.

macka  :w00t2:

I'd be in that along with the wife and two kids.....

Cheers,

Mick

You and your family will be most welcome to come :w00t2:

If any one else would like to come it would be a good short day cruise. The next door neighbour is a Expensive Daewoo fan and it would be great to see a heap of T's drivin past his house. :w00t2:

I can't hold that against him though as he is a great fabricator and one of the team who will be working on my car.

I took him for a spin yesterday and he's still smiling and shakin his head and holding his neck

:kissmy: I like to drive the car as it should be driven in the right places and at the right time.  And within the law most of the time.  :kissmy: Don't use the breaks as hard as some maybe that why I have'nt come across this problem.

But I defintaly be upgrading the brakes at some stage, I would like to take it to the track someday and do some advanced driver coarses.

sounds like a fun plan. I think you have escaped the shudder issue, I never overworked my brakes either, in fact I have never even used the abs on my T before, yet I had it at 5000ks and again even worse at 33000 ks, The bank manager (the wife) says I can upgrade to some slotted DBA rotors and better pads because she hates driving it at the moment and ford are to piss weak to fix the problem for good.

Cant wait to see some dyno figures and 1/4 mile slips when you first phase of mods is completed.

Brake Shudder ...?

I have a March 2004 build with standard stoppers and I've finished just over 25,000K and so far no shudder whatsoever. Although it's unmodified, I've driven the poor thing at it's limit more than any vehicle should be and I'm particularly familiar with the crackle of the ABS system cutting in.

I'd say Ford have fixed that issue good and proper.

25000km in 4 months  :spoton: .  Do you live in the back?

No, Canberra and sometimes Townsville. It's part of a salary package (I.e. novated lease) so I'm supposed to cover a certain amount of kays to make it viable (so the Taxman doesn't 0wn me!), the more kays I do, the less FBTax I get hit with...

Besides, I Love driving this thing and take every opportunity to go for a quick cruise... so it's just as well I have a reason to clock it up.

Man I thought that I'd clocked up my K's quickly 10,000 since 5 April 2004

Hey, I picked mine up the same day! how 'bout that?
