To tell the truth I'm a bit mystefied ,I picked my T up this arvo , no "gaping hole" radio , air con etc all there . I thought he said he was going to replace the stacker but I still cant insert a CD . Yes I am doing it correctly this time :mssux0rs: . Doesnt bother me for now I'll give them a ring next week to clarify .

What's the story when the dealer removes the ICC from your dash and sends it off to Melbourne. Is there just a gaping hole where it used to be... with no way of controlling your air con, heater, interior lights and so on - or do they leave some way of controlling these things?

Scootre,

The dealer puts in a request for a replacement ICC assy via the Dealer Communication Centre and lists the fault with the original unit in the request. They are then sent a complete "change over" assy. They then contact the customer to have it fitted. The vehicle actually wont run without the ICC assy in the vehicle.

Guys .Just had a regular service of my XR6 and requested the removal of a stuck cd in the cd player.Of course ,it plays MP3 s because its an MP3 compatible system .Had played dozens of MP3 discs in it .One got stuck. Ford Service Centre quoted me $800 to get it fixed!!! Just to remove a stuck MP3 cd . Are they for real ???? I could get four new tyres for that much !!

Anyone have a clue how to remove a stuck MP3 cd without wrecking the cd player ??
