FORDTECH Member 383 Member For: 22y 5d Location: On the edge Posted 06/08/04 12:21 PM Share Posted 06/08/04 12:21 PM What's the story when the dealer removes the ICC from your dash and sends it off to Melbourne. Is there just a gaping hole where it used to be... with no way of controlling your air con, heater, interior lights and so on - or do they leave some way of controlling these things? Scootre, The dealer puts in a request for a replacement ICC assy via the Dealer Communication Centre and lists the fault with the original unit in the request. They are then sent a complete "change over" assy. They then contact the customer to have it fitted. The vehicle actually wont run without the ICC assy in the vehicle. Ford Service Centre quoted me $800 to get it fixed!!! Just to remove a stuck MP3 cd . Are they for real ???? I could get four new tyres for that much !!Anyone have a clue how to remove a stuck MP3 cd without wrecking the cd player ??
