Lightning Member 335 Member For: 22y 3m 16d Location: Perth, Western Australia Posted 11/08/04 09:10 AM Author Share Posted 11/08/04 09:10 AM Spoke to the claims guy who authorised the claim today. RAC says that she's covered by them and she hasn't returned HBF's calls or letter, as yet. So, looks like she may have been fibbing, or I guess she may have been mistaken. He stated that the damage was consistent with my account of the incident and that the police may charge her with negligent driving as part of the due process. I suggested that he look at www.whitepages.com.au if he wanted a home phone number as it took me 5 seconds to find her.So, claiming off her insurance company is closed, at this stage. I am going to go ahead and rely on friends or hire a car for the odd weekend. The panel shop says that they may be able to do it slightly less than 4 weeks, but it is a big job and they don't want to rush it, which is fair enough. He outlined the work required and it sure sounded like a lot.Lightning....
