Mate,

I'm sure someone would have a pic somewhere. Man I need a digital camera. Awesome Silhouette XR8 (18") and a Silhouette XR6T Ute (18") at the dealor I went through for our beastie, was gawking at them last night. You would have loved it if I had pics to upload, sorry dude.

We had the AU III VCT in Silhouette and what a colour!!!!! Only trouble is that is stays clean for approx 30 mins. Very high maintance colour. Your biggest pet hate becomes FINGERMARKS!!!!!!!

They do look a Million $$ on the road.

Yeah I do agree totally, they look brilliant but they do take alot of maintenance....in the end im not going to buy a car of a different colour to what I really want just because of maintenance issues...you go for what you really want in my opinion...I'm imagining the silhouette colour with 18's would look mean as ! I hope so anyway, because my SIDO number is due sometime this week or next.

Cheers.

Look Mean???

HELL YEAH, mate, you will cause that many cases of whiplash from 'rubber neckers' in every direction looking at your car!!! Trust me, you will love the colour.

My 3 favs. are:

1: Blueprint

2/3: Phantom & Silhouette Neck 'n Neck.

Wife hated Blueprint, she was sick of me complaining about the 'black' car so she did not want another Silhouette XR6, Phantom was it! Purple freak, what can you say. LOL, it was a selling point I regret using, "But honey, they now come in purple". "Oh really"? LOL

There's a pic of Richdaves in the Photo Gallery that has a Black Ute with 18's on it, just hold your hand over the part of the screen that has the tub in it.

yeah my favourite colours are silhouette, blue print and phantom too ! I only wish I could have 3 different colours haha...

Yeah I've seen the ute with 18's but I want the total package in a nice quality hi-res shot ! :D geez I'm picky...

....But that's why I chose the ford, wouldn't buy anything but the classiest ;)

Cheers.

:D Just think, when you take delivery of your baby, you will not need to take a 'hi-res' pic.

I HAVE ONE EVEN BETTER a guy I met at the marconi club in sydney has one with 19inch polished alloy 8 spoke rims!!! and lowered absolutely gorgeous.......... but that's not all....wait for it

I just found out that a friend of mine which is a mechanic at peter warren ford does work on his car and has tol.d me that last week this guy imported an ecu from belgium (I think its belgium) and has cracked the code so it can be boosted. its running 10psi has a front mount intercooler and apparently goes like a rocket!!

sO LAST SUNDAY ME AND THE BOYS DID our usual sunday night marconi visit and yes the car was in its usual spot DISABLED PARKING (front of the club) and yes it had a front mounted intercooler pipes coming from either side... but I just had to know about the ecu...

We went ito the club and we found him and I just had to ask him and yes he did import an ecu (didnt get the name though) and yes it is boosted..... and *beep* it goes like a rocket!

ILL try for pics I promise!!

Or if your in sydney come to the club you cant miss the car!!
