Guest Maniac Guests Posted 17/08/04 08:21 AM Share Posted 17/08/04 08:21 AM My tailshaft is being replaced for making a tick tick noise (even before the hit), for the 2nd time, whilst the bumpers and guards are getting sprayed (some dude hit me the other day)clutch is being replaced since its shudderbrakes are getting replaced again after 2nd time they have the breaking shudderdiff got replaced 2day alsoand gearbox is going in for a check again for 3rd gear crunchLove the qualitydespite the fact that I love ford and my T, I gurantee you that im never buying one again! not because the car has problems, but because ford are failing to fix the problems that they are having with their cars. There is that definite smell of hypoid gear oil, just haven't had time to crawl around and find out where or why. Now, surely MoFo can fix a diff leak without replacing the diff? I like my diff, I don't want a new one. Might have to ring the service dept first to find out their tactics in fixing this stuff.ZapXR6T, I note you are Syd Nthn Beaches. I would love to go for a ride in your car to get a feel for how bad this diff issue is. I am at Pymble, PM me if interested.Gary

God,If the MoFo clowns want to change your diff just for an oil leak (surely not ) then l would consdier payng a real mechanic somewhere else to fix the leak. If they replace it and you end up with a whiner or clunker you'll be wishing you could have your oil leak back!
