Thoughts..... You'll find them in the same isle as the pasta at the supermarket.

Seriously though in answer to your question, they can't be on while driving - not sure on the exact specifics but there basically can only be three colours on a cars external lighting - red, amber and white.

Trent.

My guess is that this ^^ would be the situation. A member on here has purple ones, he might know the deal.

You might have a better chance of getting an informed answer if this had been posted somewhere else, like here --> Ask Ponch

I have Purple ones fitted to my XB, was leaving Summernats one night, was pulled into RTA inspections, managed to talk my way out of a defect, was given a very stern warning. But I have been defected before while I was STATIONARY in a carpark......

I was told amber, red or white are the only colours allowed.

In QLD they are not illegal, how ever they do attract the boys like bugs to a zapper. If you want this attention then go right ahead.

You must be mindful of Section 5 of the guidelines.

You must also not have red or blue as those colours are reserved for emergency services

Scotty, The legal requiments in melbourne Is they are allowed on while the car is parked, But if you have them on while driving and the police believe its a distraction to other cars ie the really bright LED neons thn they will do somthing. I would just have them on and if need be turn them of if your on a main street just to be carful.
