Blown BA In Your Face Member 6,195 Member For: 21y 10m 22d Gender: Male Location: Peninsula Posted 28/07/04 07:30 AM Share Posted 28/07/04 07:30 AM (edited) Today l took the T in for it's 15000k service and some minor warranty issues at COFFEY FORD, and l can say that l'm very happy. l had a problem where it kept surging in power on cold mornings and they did a PCM upgrade, and that fixed the problem....boy does it feel different They washed it cleaned it inside the cabin and engine bay all for a minor $199 :lol: I then drove down the road to Amberly Autos and spoke to Rob about the Xede and to replace the injectors ( the same as what Geeas got) that l finally got from my friend and got quoted $1550 fitted. l also asked Rob to replace the Valve Springs at $600, not a bad price indeed l said to Rob book it in for a Months time. You might end up saving enough to keep the Boss happy by doing the chip, injectors and tune alone first to discover whether your particular springs are a limiting factor - don't take it as Gospel that all BAs have dodgy springs as there are several out there at Phase II with standard springs without 'issues'; the spring issue like the auto issue is becoming a bit of a cash cow/fad for some folk out there.
