I chose Silhouette for my car because it will match my shades B) . I'd also like the local SS community to start muttering over their pints down at the pub 'you seen that black ford turbo getting around? looks sweet, bloody quick too !!!'

The Turbo I test drove was the acid rush. I liked it as a colour. Looks great in the bright sun, however I have a view that it will look Mustardish on a heavily overcast day. It has quite a bit of metallic in it.

Yeah, I chose Silhouette too because I think it'd look downright scary coming up in someone's rear-view mirror. ;-) Also, I'm told it'll be the first silhouette XR6 in Canberra and with all tinted windows, should be quite unique.

VX Late model camira SS comes in a mustard type colour, that's what the Acid Rush XR would probably look like.

Still pretty damn nice. :)

Nah, I don't think it's quite the same. The SS colour is a mustard colour irrespective of the light that it's in - I think the Acid Rush is a more of a yellow in the sunlight going to a yellow/orange tinge in the shade - but then again, I haven't seen it in the flesh.

My dad (who works for Ford) has told me it looks more of a goldy greenish colour. And yes under the sunlight looks fantastic. He still thinks its the best colour available :D

When I was driving up from the Gong (to Sydney) yesterday I saw a black XR6 (not a Turbo), my wife hasn't seen one yet, so until yesterday she wasn't totally convinced it was the best car for us.

It was one of the most awesome car's I've seen, sleek, stylish, sporty, all the things you want a car to look like.

I've got some serious talking to do with my wife, I want one NOW! (the XR6T of course).

Am Happy the black looks like that... 3 days and counting!!!!!
