pfffffffffft !

thanks for your input blown ba ,but why bother. :o

Hope that's not hostility brother.

Blown BA would have been reffering to the fact that when you hit your goal of 270/280rwkw that isnt gonna be enough to satisfy the need.

Dazza.

p.s. If that's not what Blown BA intended then let round 1 begin.

When you get to 237rwkw...you say to yourself that will do then you drive around and say...sh*t l need more then you get to 275 and then the story just keeps on going.....GET MY DRIFT

thers a few cars on here pumping 330+rwkw quite safely, there isnt really much more that will go wrong with that much power than with 270/280rwkw, you would have already done your auto, (if you have an auto) you would already have done the valve springs, you would already have done the injectors, the only other thing to really consider would be the conrods, but even they are good to 330rwkw.

Dazza.

You could always ask Goldie, I hear he might have a set that he'd part with. He & Shane (turbo6) have been using them for about 18 months with plenty of success. They retail from Expensive Daewoo for around $80 a pop instead of at least twice that for the 968's. In an auto they'll allow you to get very close to 300rwkw's, how close, well Monday will probably shed some light.

Thanks guys

that's what I needed know

:spoton:

I got the fuel pump, I will pick up injectors next week.

Now what to do about an ECU ? perhaps a haltech or !!!!!!!!

Don't know much about the Haltech. I have the Xede and couldn't be happier. The benefit of the Xede is that it can have 2 maps that can be changed with a switch, this is a great feature. Alot will also come down to how good the tuner is, it doesn't matter how good the piggyback cpu is if the tuner is no good.

yeah thanks geea, its just that there are a few options now.

I will give it a few more weeks to see how the new boys in town perform eg haltech & bpt scanner.

MRC was looking good until I saw the price. :gooff:
