are they sh*ts of things to install?

Not to hard to install about 3/4 hour but I would not recommend you run them on the standard computor as it would appear it can not trim the fuel flow enough.

Is that right scotty. :ta:

Ian

That'd be correct, doesn't do much for your *beep* either, anybody want a melted cat.

Whats the flow rate of the standard injectors?

Here is part of an email reply I received from Bosch Motorsport in Germany.

The flow rate is measured at ccm/min at 2.7 bars. I believe that the "T" actually runs at 4 bar.

I hope this helps.

there are injection valves in series production that have a higher flow rate than the 0 280 156 124.

I have found some interesting valves for you with the following data:

Bosch Part Number:      Flow rate (ccm/min at 2.7 bars) alpha-angle    beta-angle      delta-angle

0 280 156 124...........295,47.........................................20°...............8

°.............90°

0 280 155 831...........328,67.........................................20°.............10°

.............90°

0 280 155 830...........361,94.........................................20°.............10°

.............90°

0 280 155 968...........429,97.........................................20°.............10°

.............90°

In my opinion the different beta-angles will not cause any kind of problem

They all are EV 6 E manufactured in the same body with the same connectors.

Geea is meaning that the "124's" are the standard jobbies. For those that didn't know.

Using this thread as not wanting to start antother for one question... so here it goes...

The bosch 968's.... what is a good price to buy them at.... Asking for the price over the counter, not the price that includes fitting ... Thanks :spoton:

Reason for asking.... looking at buying some goodies now... stock piling till I have a few of them, and get them all fitted at the one time.

If you can get them through a friend at Bosch about $115- $120. I got mine through Amberley and paid about $150 each, this was there cost price. I think they retail at Repco for about $220. You could also try online through europe or england. I did some research on this method but ran out of time.

Thanks geea.... I have a friend that works at repco... will see what he can get them for...... At least I now have a rough idea of what they are worth :gooff:

If its too expensive through them I Think I will look at getting them from overseas... Am not in a hurry to get them so this is another option.

Owna, I believe that the ones I have are the same as the phaseIII injectors. I've spoken to a few of the phase III owners and I think they are the same injector.
