* How to understand that the clock still ticks away whilst you sit in the car and do nothing

* How to look in the mirror and attemt to reverse

* How to ensure that when you slide off to keep going and try and get back on the road

* How to not wait for 19 laps before attempting any movement

* How to let down tyres and at least make some attempt to get going

* How to keep on the power and not just give up when your sidways

This course is designed for any V8 Supercar driverr who feels their skills are lacking in this area.

yes, I think so. Rally guys don't sit in the car for 20 minutes trying to work out what to do, they get out and start digging!

God only knows what they were doing/thinking! winning want one of em!

Dallas, I think your being a bit to hard on old Marcus.

You didnt mention the shunt he got from Bowe (I think).

No doubt they would have been talking on the radio to find a solution and the one the engineer/tech came up with was pretty good givin his situation.

If he had got out the car and left it, he wouldn't have got the 60 odd crucial points for eventually finishing the race.

hhmmm Marcos, and Skaife for that matter were not far from the track, getting out was fairly dangerous in my opinion.

Beat me to it !

Was thinking the same thing on the day. Hopefully the flag marshals at that corner broke out the yellow flags when he was out of the car !
